Andy & Lynne took over The Old Courthouse in 2004, changing its name from The New Inn.
It quickly became the popular and friendly village local it now is.

The pub is situated on the crossroads in the centre of the village, and boasts a large car park.
We also have a covered and heated smoking area on our patio, and a secluded garden at the rear of the pub.
Westfield is on the 1066 country walk, and ramblers are always welcome.
Well behaved dogs and children are also welcome.

In 2007 The Old Courthouse was voted South East Sussex CAMRA Pub of the Year, in recognition of the quality of the pub and its Real Ales.

We have served over 600 different ales in the last six years
.

We have teams in local leagues for: quiz, darts, shove-penny and bar billiards. You can also play cribbage or dominoes here.

We also supply free wireless broadband access, just ask at the bar for the password.

Cashback is available on bank debit cards, for a charge of only 75p.

The first Friday of every month is our curry night. A selection of freshly home made curries is available, always including a vegetarian option.

Every August Bank Holiday we hold a beer festival, with a dozen interesting beers from all round the country  on offer.

On Friday mornings, from 10am to noon drop in to the Westfield Community Hub at The Old Courthouse. It is staffed entirely by volunteers from the community. You can have a friendly chat and find loads of information on what's going on in and around Westfield. Laptops and a printer are available to use, with free Wi-Fi broadband access. There is also a popular book exchange. Tea or coffee with biscuits is only 50p, so why not come and meet your friends, or make new ones.
